前役拚到抽筋的澳洲小將戴拉維多瓦，以及左肩輕微拉傷的尚波特2名騎士先發主力，昨都敲定不會缺席今天上午9點開打的總冠軍賽第4戰，畢竟如果能夠搶下這場勝利，騎士就可提前宣告聽牌，也把勇士推到懸崖邊緣。
戴拉維多瓦第3戰上場38分鐘（第2戰打40分鐘），除了滿場飛奔、拚救險球與攻下季後賽新高20分，更全力盯防柯瑞，賽後他虛脫到送往醫院吊點滴，昨天僅跟隊友進行輕量訓練，且打算多吃、多喝儲備體力。
「我感覺好幾次把自己推到極限，那是我生涯最累的1戰，」戴拉維多瓦說，「現在我好多了，感謝賽程安排，我們不用連兩天都要比賽。」他最近紅到家鄉（瑪莉柏勒市）球館改用他的名字命名，甚至獲得澳洲駐美大使表揚。
尚波特是在前役首節拉傷肩膀，但他忍痛打完剩下比賽，如今檢查並無大礙，最開心的當屬詹姆斯，「當尚波特重返場上，儘管無法用百分之百狀態應戰，卻激勵到全隊，但我們不能再有傷兵了。」
至於落居1比2劣勢的勇士，德拉蒙格林決定公開跟隊友放話，企圖激起全隊士氣，「我們無論拚勁或渴望都輸對手，現在不是該沉默的時刻，大家要把話講開，假如繼續沉默，過沒幾天我們就淘汰了。」
NBA昨正式宣布，將從2017-18年球季開始，改由NIKE取代adidas成為球衣供應廠商，這份長達8年的合約預估總值10億美元，平均每年支付金額比起過往多出2.45倍，代表兩年後的NBA球衣將從「三條線」改回「勾勾」。
